I found this book preview. I thought it's very interesting. Check out the preview, I think it explains a lot about MMU.

Eh, I wish people wouldn't give the misinformation that mica comes in bright colours. It is naturally colourless or a drab grey/golden/brown/charcoal. Any "mica powder" that you buy has been coloured by the manufacturer with iron oxides, titanium dioxide, ferric ferrocyanide, etc. Iron oxides and ultramarines are lab-made, too. Sorry, that just irks me to see.

at first i didnt want to buy the book after i read what u say about it giving thsi misinformation but then i bought it eventually hearing so many good things about it and i realize what i found here is what it is actually said.

but yes i do too wish ppl wouldnt give misinformation. coz there are a lot of them out there.

yea i have seen many mmu company sites saying we dont have so much oxides occured naturally in the earth but theyre just the same after its done processed.

okej so far i have read 2/3 of the book and i m not sure whether other ppl like it i find it quite informative. as a newbie of mmu making i really need formulas for different stuff and too deatiled explanation isnt needed. too many formula would only leave me not knowing which one to use or wasting my product to get many foundations i didnt need or not right for me.

it has enough formula for me to used but for very experienced user this book might be too simple.

as much of a cheapie i m i do thinkit would be better if it has more in the book for that price even if its actually enough for me:P *cheapie cheapie* but afterall u need to expeiriment yourself to find the colour u like. they already show quite a few eyeshadow and blush colour in the book so i incline to recommend other newbies of making mmu to buy this book.




lastly i just wish hk ppl KNOW mmu so that i can resell it....

Ok, so I went to that link and it didn't work.
Are there lots of Recipes for Foundation, Shadows and Blushes? Like for different shades etc? I just don't know
about buying an ebook, without seeing at least an index of what's inside, ya know?

For those that want to start simple, there's a free 21 page instructions at tkb trading.

I skimmed it and when I run out of veil or foundation or decide I 'must have' more e/s, I'll probably buy their kit...I wish I had instead of all these samples that don't match me! :-(

i think the costal scents e booook is better than that. clearer n simpler
theer is no foundation formular and other formular for making mmu either they do have a finishing veil which is extremely simple tho

I want the coastalscent book but i want the tkbtrading kit, its alot cheaper than coastalscents.

Savvy are you saying that the TKBtrading book doesnt have foundation recipes or did i read it wrong?

I keep losing and finding this site, lol. There are foundation, blush, e/s, and lippies recipes. Sweetscents :: Your Cosmetic Mineral Mica Resource I am not at that point yet...ordered some stuff from TKB to 'spruce' up and hopefully fix what I already have, and try to make veils, e/s .
