Lumiere e/s??
When it says "loaded with sparkles" in the description.. does it mean glitter??? Also, how are Lumiere e/s? Are they very pigmented? People rave about them and yet I don't see many swatches around, seems they aren't that popular....

Re: Lumiere e/s??
I've not found many MuTers talk about them. I know I love them. They are high quality and I think the pigment is very good. The full sizes are full, 10g jars. Lots of product! It will take a year or more to use mine up. The samples are a little disappointing. You don't get very much compared to other companies. It's enough for a few applications.
The sparkle in the Shimmer Collection is just right for me. I don't like eyeshadows that look like a disco ball. Some in the Shimmer Collection doesn't have sparkle, they just have shimmer. I would describe the shimmer type like a frosty sheen. I like the shimmer as much as the sparkles. The descriptions usually specify "sparkle" or "shimmer".I did a few pictures in the swatch thread. The pictures are not great, but it does give you an idea of the colors. The link to the swatches is below. LINK >>>> Lumiere Eyeshadow Swatches I hope this helps you out! ![]()

Re: Lumiere e/s??
Thanks very much you're always so helpful lol!! I've these swatches before, and I was still kind of confused about the whole "sparkle" terminology... It's really hard to see these things on a picture.. So from what you're saying, I guess it's safe to assume that even a shadow like "Gold Sparkle", which is described as being a "Muted Gold, with LOTS of sparkle", would be safe to wear at work?

I have Gold Sparkle. It's a very brilliant eyeshadow. It's a shimmer with sparkle. I wouldn't see why you couldn't wear it as a middle color (inside lid area) in a three color application. I would sample it to be sure. It MIGHT be a bit too brilliant for work, but I don't know. I know it's absolutely beautiful! The picture on their website or my swatch picture doesn't do this color justice.

Re: Lumiere e/s??
Thanks for the info!! I think I'll avoid the "LOTS of sparkles" just to be safe... I'm planning to get Deep Plum, Caribbean Blue, and Coral Gold (which has some sparkles, so we'll see)
