I'm not sure how a powder primer would work but I love pure luxe's eraser

I tried a sample of this in the oily skin version. It did a great job of holding down the oil. I did have a few small breakout spots. I am trying to figure out if it was caused by the primp and preen or just a coincidence. I am back with my Aubrey Nicole Rice Powder right now. It does very good too, holding down the oil.

I have found with my very oily skin that I MUST put on some kind of oil control powder first. I have worn my MMU with and without oil control powder. When I wore it without, my MMU did not last all day. It would disappear in areas of my face. With oil control powder that has not been an issue as of yet.

Re: Meow premiere puss primer

I have the oil control formula. I also use the Monistat. I put the Monistat on first, then apply the Meow powder all over. It seems to help cut down the shine. When my daughter was home for spring break, I tried the Meow on her for several days. She has more sensitive skin than I do. She felt that the primer was making her itch. Maybe the regular formula would work for her. I'm cool with this primer, but I need all the help that I can get.

Re: Meow premiere puss primer

thanks guys. i think i shall get it and there's a 25% off sale goin on. I've heard good raves about pure luxe eraser but it's sooo pricey for the size. so I'm just gonna take advantage of the sale.

so do you guys think it actually makes a diff? i use mac prep+prime. I've never used a powder primer b4. and I'm switching to MMU now.

Personally I don't notice a real difference with the powder primers. The gel or cream ones yes.

I use the cream one. It feels amazing, that's all I can say. It really makes my makeup smooth and go on evenly.

Re: Meow premiere puss primer

I've never tried any other primer other than Meow and the Monistat. Someday when I'm bored and have absolutely nothing to spend my money on, I'll buy Laura Mercier, Smashbox or Mac. So I can't help you with comparisons. Basically, I use the powder to help the oily skin and the Monistat to keep the makeup in place. I was all set one day to buy the Smashbox, then low and behold I found the Meow and decided to take a chance and save some money.

Re: Meow premiere puss primer

It depends what your using the primer for, I use primers to cover my sick big pores and the powder pure luxe did absolutely nothing for that.... But if your using it for other things then you might be ok
