Mineral Boutique...

I have been wearing mineral makeup for about 2 years now. I started with BE.. which broke me out like crazzzzy! Then monave.. which i loved.. but made my skin a lil itchy, and i couldnt find a exact color match. Finally, I tried Mineral boutique which i havent seen mentioned on here anywhere... I found out about through the delphi forums (mineral makeup mania). I saw so many people raving about it and I had to try.. I found a decent match... but the formula was great! I use the Halt It for my oily skin... I was surprised that it isnt mentioed on here anywhere... I thought it was more popular but i guess not...

anyway I still havent found hte perfect color, so I am trying Meow minerals to see how that goes, but it is hard to get passed the mineral boutique formula.. esp for my oily skin!

Has anyone else tried Mineral boutique? What is the best MMU for oily skin? Also, anyone of South Asian or Indian decent using MMU, I need color suggestions! I m still searching for the perfect color. Thanks sooo much!

Re: Mineral Boutique...

I think I have this in the Mineral Sites list. Thanks for giving us the review!

Re: Mineral Boutique...

I have used Mineral Boutique. I had the same problem with not being able to find a match. Also I thought it felt heavy on my skin and looked chalky if I wasn't careful with my application. I have read great reviews of it though, so I guess it just depends on your skin if it will work or not.

Re: Mineral Boutique...

I'm looking for a perfect MMU for oily skin, too, but with no luck.

Re: Mineral Boutique...

I've never tried their foundation, but I do like their eyeshadows.

Anyway for oily skin I'd recommend Aubrey Nicole, Oceanmist Cosmetics, Everyday Minerals (intensive or matte formulas), Monave, or Joppa. All of these (except Everyday Minerals) have kaolin clay which is really helpful in oil control.
