Mineral Finishing Powder vs. Traditional?
I've always had problems with traditional pressed powder - I have an oily T-zone and powder always seems to clump and become patchy (on my forehead in particular). Do you think MMU is the answer to this problem??

Re: Mineral Finishing Powder vs. Traditional?
It might be. Have you tried using a brush to apply your finishing powder? That can make a big difference, too, as sponges and powder puffs can lay down more than you want.
In general, I've found mineral finishing powders to be a bit lighter - I'm especially partial to the Silk Naturals ones, some people swear by Lumiere, J Lynne, Valerie Beauty, and PureLuxe. It depends on your skin type and what you're looking for - in general, loose powder is better, though. My opinion only, but I like very light coverage. If you're looking for heavier, Simsimi is our resident expert ![]() |

Re: Mineral Finishing Powder vs. Traditional?
Yeah, I generally use a brush because I find that sponges/puffs make my face look 'overdone'. And I mostly use pressed for practicality - I do most of my make-up whilst travelling, so loose powder can become a bit of a messy problem! =S
I do catch your drift, though - thanks for the advice! |
