Mineral Make-up for dry, sensitive, acne prone skin
I posted a thread in the Make-up section concerning a horrible make-up allery I am having. Someone suggested I come here for suggestions on mineral make up.
Any suggestions on a line of mineral make-up that's easy to apply with simple ingredients for sensitive skin that won't clog pores? |

I'm not sure which brand to suggest...they all pretty much do the same and are good for your skin.

Re: Mineral Make-up for dry, sensitive, acne prone skin
I suggest not going with any that have Bismuth Oxychloride because that tends to be one that causes itching. Did with me.
Meow have a "Pampered Puss" formula made especially for sensitive skin. It feels so light on but the coverage is buildable. Warning though, Meow has so many colors to offer so it's best to post your colors and ask for recs in one of the Meow threads. Lauress elemental is another I'd try out. They are still doing free samples - see that thread for details on that- and get color recs too. Everyone is so helpful about that stuff here.

Hoozey is right,I forgot about the Bismuth issue. Most brands do not have it.

Re: Mineral Make-up for dry, sensitive, acne prone skin
I would recommend going with Lauress Elemental. Reason being is Zinc which is very healing to the skin is the #1 ingredient in that particular formula and it should be more soothing. It also has Lauroyl Lysine which is a healing and soothing Amino Acid that should contribute in a positive way.

I'd also recommend trying Lumiere FF because it soothes my dry skin. Sometimes I think once you get that balance to your skin, it stops breaking out. The samples are inexpensive and worth trying.

Thanks for the reply. I am writing all of these suggestions down. I'll check them out on the internet and decide. Thanks again.
