Mineral makeup and glasses?
For those of you who wear glasses and mineral makeup....do any of you get marks wear your glasses sit in your makeup? I do and it annoys me! I get these marks where my glasses sit...it's like my skin gets moist and my makeup there gets clumpy...and of course my skin under is red from the pressure, but does anyone know of a way to avoid the clumpiness from the glasses?

?. I think that this is pretty common and I don't suppose that the pressure pads for eyeglasses would be very helpful.

Re: Mineral makeup and glasses?
I get those from my sunglasses! I just smooth them out when I get to where I'm going.

Re: Mineral makeup and glasses?
I find they smooth out pretty easily too but without all the foundation coming off like it tends to with a liquid

Re: Mineral makeup and glasses?
I wear glasses and i used to have the same kind of problem. I was wearing EDM intesive makeup and it made my face somewhat oily and my glasses would settle into the makeup. I now use EDM semi-matte formula and I don't have any oil problems whatsoever. So you may need to change formula or brands.

Re: Mineral makeup and glasses?
Hi, Maybe your glasses need to be adjusted if you're getting red marks? I used to get 'goo' on mine (my phone & etc etc ick!) from regular makeup, but since I've been using MMU hasn't happened. Maybe try a bit more veil and/or concealer in the area. As long at you pat & don't rub when you take glasses off, makeup should stay intact.

Re: Mineral makeup and glasses?
I wear glasses and I get some MMU transfer to the bottoms of my frames and lenses, but it doesn't make a mark on my face or anything. The MMU stays fresh looking all day. I wear BE and always use Mineral Veil, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not. I always had problems with liquid foundation. My frames are smallish and metal and have the silicone nose pieces to keep them up off my face for the most part, so that may help as well. Good luck!

Re: Mineral makeup and glasses?
If you are getting red marks from your glasses, you need them adjusted.
I wear glasses and mmu and never have any problem with my mmu.

I dont get red marks thank goodness! I have to remember to smooth out the place where my glasses sit though or it will look funny.

Re: Mineral makeup and glasses?
The nosepads on my glasses kind of smear my mmu, but they did the same thing with traditional foundation so I didn't think anything of it. I never take my glasses off during the day so no one can see it anyway! (My skin is super oily, though, so it doesn't surprise me.)
Or are you talking about the lenses of your glasses touching your face? I have small lenses that never touch my face -- the nosepads are the only part that touch my face!

Re: Mineral makeup and glasses?
I seemed to have had more of a problem with my liquid foundation. Can't recall any problems recently with mmu.

Re: Mineral makeup and glasses?
I changed my face wash, moisturizer etc and wore my lauress today and no "slippage" or goopeyness on the side of my nose where my glasses sit. Don't know if it's the lauress or my estee lauder face stuff!
