MMU collections

OK. I thought it would be interesting to see what our makeup collections look like. I have been wearing MMU for almost 5 years. Here is my collection after that time. Mind you, I have given away every BE face product that I bought- all the radiances, foundations, blushes and concealers I had. I only kept eye stuff from BE. This collection also doesn't include colors that just weren't "me" and were given away to friends and family. Nor does this include my daughter's collection which I started at Christmas. Also note, I did not include my lip products or mascaras. Last- the little black and white train case- fits in my makeup drawer has my favs in it--- there are full sized eye products in 3 of the 4 flip out things and then mini's layered on top of them. Bottom has multiple layers of MMU as does clear one. Notice the clear plastic tackle boxes I use to store colors I don't use as often.
How much of an addict am I? I have Meow samples on the way too and I want to order more from J Lynne.

That's an awsome collection you've got there! I might do pics of mine soon but my collection is huge so it'd take ages!

Re: MMU collections

The semi-clear ones are from WalMart. Fishing dept- they are supposed to be for fishing tackle. The clear fold out was the inside of a BE traincase- came in a kit. The little traincase came from a dept. store on clearance- I love it because it fits in my makeup drawer and I keep the favs handy in it. My drawer is also full of containers with all kinds of lip products and probably close to a dozen different mascaras.
See the little paint pots that I use from the local hobby store to do e/s samples? I get 16 for $2 and it keeps them all handy. Often I peel the sticker off the baggie and place on top.

Wow Hoozey that's alot of makeup! I just wanted to say a quick little "thanks" you are the reason I gave mineral makeup another shot. I had issues with dry skin because of your reviews on Lumiere and other products I've kept trying it, and I think my face is almost "use" to it. I'm 39 and am starting to have issues with fine lines also! rats! I bet you can relate"age wise" at least......THanks again, I will try and post some pictures soon!

Re: MMU collections

Great collection Hoozey. Thanks for sharing.
I also store my 5gr jars in a box similar to the one you have. One box is for favourite/every day shades, another for infrequently used shades and the third box for backups.

Your avi certainly doesn't make you look 39- I was going to definitely say 20's. I am telling you, my skin is in better condition now after 5 years of MMU (and better skincare choices) than when I started. I am so glad you gave it another try because of my reviews- as a SAHM I don't get many thanks for my advice. I can't wait to see your pictures.

Re: MMU collections

Wow Hoozey! Now I might have a problem cause I got so happy and excited looking at your collection. I mean I'm smiling and just all into it! Excellent thread. Do you want us to just post mineral things here. I love this. I honestly got happy! Then I started "identifying all of the who's who's in the collection.
Girl you are so organized. Now I'm remembering a couple of months ago one Sunday we had to go to Walmart, Big Lots, and Dick's cause GV said "Hoozey had a great idea about fishing tackle boxes." Now I know exactly where the bulk of her mineral stuff is! A little here and there, it's in those plastic tackle boxes!
You should start a thread or organizing all of this stuff. You've got a natural gift from what I'm looking at for it.

I love your collection and when you think that you did BE for 5 years I know that you gave away a ton of stuff!

I see much Lumiere I see some Lauress already I'm frustrated cause I don't rec some of those jars and I need to know who and how (they are ) the ones on the far left w/ white labels.
You have that BE eyeliner thingy. I wanted that so much. Slipped my mind. Is it a must have?
Who's are the colored stackers?

Do you love you flat top bronzer brush for applying foundation or just like it?

I love your collection. Where do you live? Kentucky. Now I know that's about a 5 hour drive from Atlanta where I live cause G. kept someone's daughter one summer and they met 1/2 in Kentucky. I rode along. If I can do that I know I can come and ................

The jars on the far left are the samples I got from J Lynne- Luminous glows- love Bronze and Natural is a close second. Some e/s from them. Also the entire coffee house e/s from them are in my main stash. LOVE- along with Bronze.
Those aren't BE liners- those are Monave liner pencils and I LOVE them. Got Espresso and the white liner (must have for everyone IMO- use to line inner lower lid and watch how your eyes pop!)
The colored stacker is a stacker pill thing I bought and put my Mad 5 gm. sale stash in because they were flowing out the tops of the jars they came in. I am an organizing queen... have three kids--- kind of type-A too.
The flat top is BE heavenly face and it's what I've been using for foundation for about a month or more. I am awaiting the Lumiere pre-order ones- got the flat buffer, 2 long handle bukis, reg. buki, 8 piece set and an eye/smudger one. As if I need any more brushes. See my BE great big buki-- got that with huge BE gossamer (silver container). I am going to use that this summer on my legs/arms etc.
Are you saying that you'd drive to KY to get at my stash?LMAO
