Have any of you tried Everyday Minerals lip colors? I have one on order but my probem with lip color/gloss is I hate that "lipstick taste". I hope they don't have it!

Are there any flavored MMU lip colors? Or if you use a blush color with clear gloss can you recommend a clear flavored or nice gloss? How do you apply it that way anyway (I've been cheating with a Monave lipstick but I don't like the taste/smell of it). I've not been brave enough to try to do lips with powder! eep!

I got the spring pink one and it's very sheer-almost no color at all, more like a clear lipbalm. Like you I hate the taste and smell of many lip products but this doesn't have either. BareFaced Minerals has some flavored lip products (balms, lippie styx) and so does Makeup Junky.

I just placed an order for some lippies from Monave...I will post reviews once they arrive I'd like to add that Monave's Shipping to Canada is $6 + $2 handling....quite expensive but i really need some new lippies.

I first apply lipstick/lipgloss on my lips and then I dip the tip of my lip brush into the minerals and brush it over that.

I have the EDM glosses in plum, natural and peach. I LOVE the peach and plum!! The plum has a lot of color and is beautiful, the peach looks very natural (and i like to combine it with the plum for a pretty color) and the natural is just a nice shine and shimmer to the lips. They do NOT have a lipstick smell, and they are not sticky at all...very nice and moisturizing.

Alima has some really nice natural lipbalms. The flavour isn't anything amazing, but they're really pretty. I've heard that LaurEss lipglosses smell and taste like chocolate, but I've never tried them myself. Hoping to soon, though!

Ah! Thank you! I was having a chicken or the egg debate with myself on this one. Gloss first or after? I will try this for some of the powder blush colors I have. Yay!

The day I posted this my package came! I got the plum one. It's very pretty. If I apply it with my fingers I can get just a tinted gloss. But if I apply it with a lip brush it's full on color baby!

I really like it, no nasty lipstick smell or taste. And it's not sticky. I may order the peach one too!

Oh yeah, I forgot about Lauress lipstick....*mental note to add that to my next MMU budgeting plan* I want to try that one too. I'm just not sure about what color. A lot of them looked really pink.

Oh yea, Lauress lippies are great and one of my favorites! I have Treasure and Candy and they do have a chocolate scent to them, but it fades after 10 mins or so.
