MMU Matte blushes?
Covergirl Cheekers blush used to be my go to blush, but now that my skin is doing better with mineral makeup I would like to find something similar in mineral form. I forget which shade I used. I wanna say Rose Silk, or something with Rose in it. I don't mind blushes with a bit of sheen to them, but for everyday I prefer a more matte look.

Re: Matte blushes?
EDM has many matte blushes, I've tried "Email Me" and it's a pretty pink-rose matte color, I have a medium-tan skintone so it doesnt really show on me, but I can guarantee it'll look really soft & pretty on lighter skintone.
hope it helps
luvluv

Re: Matte blushes?
EDM Best Friends is nice too, very pretty rosy, has a bit of a sheen to it but not super sparkly. Also, their Nick Nack is a matte rose shade.

Re: Matte blushes?
I'll look at those. Maybe with my next kit. This kit I purchased text message, but it's on the dark side(imo much darker than the web site) and a little goes a long way. First time I used it I looked like someone slapped my face.

Re: Matte blushes?
milan minerals has some great matte blushes as well. And I think they're on sale this wk. I like riot, which is a burnt orange matte color, but i believe there are several rose/mauvey/pink matte colors

I will have to look at those. I haven't yet checked out the eye shadows yet and really want to, so this is all the more incentive to drive the 20 minutes or so to the nearest K Mart.
And in case anyone might find this helpful, this is Text Message next to a container of BE Warmth. Both are quite dark on me, so I use them sparingly. It is much darker than the EDM website showed.

Re: Matte blushes?
i never use swatches on websites, they're usually inaccurate. like when i ordered text message, i was expecting a rosy pink, but instead i got a full on bronzer.

Re: Matte blushes?
^^^Yeah I normally do samples, but I was purchasing a kit and needed another item. I figured what the hell. I have seen a few sites that offer sample sets of shadows or blushes, and I have been thinking of ordering a few to try out a wide selection of colors.

Re: Matte blushes?
Everyday Minerals has some nice matte shades, I liked Nick Nack, a rose shade you might like. Silk Naturals also has a few matte ones, they are quite sheer and fool proof (Jamie, Cocoaberry are a few matte ones I tried).
I'm actually struggling to find a nice peachy matte blush, similar to the Perfect Peach shade in Cover Girl.

Re: Matte blushes?
you can try Lily Lolo's Cupcake blush. i use it everyday, it is matte and very neutral, so you can really apply as much as you want. it's very pretty

Re: Matte blushes?
Definitely look at EDM's blushes. Look up on photobucket for actually swatches or flickr. Tons of ppl there will post swatches and small descriptions so that you can get more accurate information. I have about 10 EDM blushes and I love them. They're long lasting and have to be used sparingly since they're so pigmented.
They have so many to pick from ranging from matte to shimmer. Before I was using L'oreals Bare Naturale in Pink or Rose something which was extremely pigmented as well. It's not all natural minerals but it didnt break me out and the container is extremely generous. The only downfall with it is that the kabuki it comes with is really scratchy, it does contain bismuth and unless you get BOGO its not worth the 11 to 16 bucks alone.
