Ladies,

Could you be so kind as to list off your absolute favorite MMU brands?? I read through that list of MMU sites - OMG, there are just WAY too many to go through!! LOL I tried =) I will save that project for my days off when I have nothing else to do!!

Well, my favorite so far, for eye shadow, is Medusa's Make Up! I have the entire 48 color eye dust collection. OMG, I love all the colors & the textures!! They really are as good as MAC pigments, IMO. Actually I like some of them much better than MAC. They have zero to minimal fall-out. The colors are so vibrant & pigmented! And they last all day & night on me, even if I fall asleep in them, they look like i just applied them when I wake up! LOL I'm starting to sound like an infomercial because I rave about them so much! But I truly love them. Shipping was quick - less than a week.

I tried Taylor Made Minerals, and I use the foundation every day & like it alright. But I was very unhappy with the shipping - which took THREE weeks! And then the jars are so crappy that all the eye pigments were all over the place. Total mess!! Every time I open a jar a huge glob falls out, where it was stuck, hiding under the rim of the lid. And i hate the texture on many of them. They will not apply well wet, they just go on in clumpy globs. Many will not even apply over UDPP or Paint Pots - they just brush right off & leave not a trace of color behind.

Anyway - that's a little feedback from me on those two companies.

Aromaleigh has many converts who formerly used MAC pigments. Although I have never used Mac so I can't say first hand, I do love everything I have tried so far from Aromaleigh--foundations, eyeshadows, lippies.

My other current favs are Alima, Lauress and Lumiere.

i know it can be overwhelming. i have been sampling steadily for almost a year now and still continue because of all the tips from this forum.

I can't wait to get my sample package!! I'm excited ;p I'm going to end up spending so much money trying samples of everything!! LOL But better to try samples than waste 2-3 times as much money on a product I may not like.

Ditto. I've only tried sheer cover and EDM and EDM is by far way better. Its more natural looking on me and no bismuth to complain about!

I've only ever tried Silk Naturals mineral foundation but I really like being able to mix my own shade.

As for finishing powder, I love love love SN's perfecting powder... can't say enough about it. It cleared up blackheads/whiteheads.. makes my pores look smaller... cuts down oil slicks... all good in my books!

Eyeshadows... at the moment, I'm enjoying the intensity of TheSheSpace pigments. I also like SN's e/s for their sheer everyday look.

KT Naturals has really nice mineral makeup. I love how you can buy 1/2 or whole refill bags and save a few dollars. It is also so easy to find a color match:

Ladies, again thank you so much for all your input!! =) I checked out a bunch over the weekend & ordered a few items from several different places.

I was really looking forward to getting about a dozen eye shadow samples from Fyrinnae - but when I got to the checkout page it said that orders would be taking at LEAST 20-30 days to process or something insanely ridiculous like that! Well, there's no way I'm waiting 4-6 weeks. That's just not acceptable to me, as a consumer. That's one reason I would never order from Taylor Made Minerals again - I had to wait 3 weeks for my order. Guess I'm just way too impatient! ;p

But, several of the other shops I DID buy from have already shipped out, so I will have my things in a few days! Yay!

I'll let you know what I think =)

And I'll be posting video reviews on my YouTube channel, if anyone cares to catch those.
