Ok, so how many of you, despite finding your "HG" foundation brand/ color, still search for more matches in other brands? I have a compulsion to find at least one or two matches in a few different brands, perhaps so if one company goes out of business or changes their formula or color I will have others that I know work for me. Presently I rotate and rarely wear the same brand/color two days in a row. Lumiere, Aromaleigh, Signature Minerals and Lauress are my current fav's. How abut you?

I always always, mineral or not, look for a foundation even though I have a HG. ITs like an addiction or something!

I try to find others, even with an HG on hand. One never knows when things will get discontinued, or if a company will shut down.. *knocks on wood*

I'm always looking! I've been happy with my hg foundation for a while but now I have samples from 2 companies on the way.

As you mentioned, companies go out of business or discontinue or change formulations all the time - so nothing wrong with having something else that you know you like. There is a company Valerie Beauty who has just quit formulating mmu to concentrate on skin care I think? and some people who loved her foundation are now scrambling to find something comparable.
I have read on mineral makeup mania before people who have certain brands of foundation that they wear for each season too.

You should try Classy Mineral's liquid foundation they're great

that is definitely me! i found my hg at everyday minerals but i keep getting samples just to see if there are other foundations that also work well.

It's almost like a compulsion for me to try different brands. It's never a bad thing to have more than one HG--it's actually an advantage. I get bored easily, and prefer to use different foundations. Also, different brands/formulas serve different purposes. In addition to that, you'd never know if there's a better product out there, unless you try out new stuff. =)
