Based on recommendtions on this site I purchased the flat top brush and I love it. In corresponding with Lisa (the owner?) I also received some foundation, bisque, mineral veil and blush samples. I've been on the hunt for so very long for a replacement for my Bare Escentuals but haven't found a matching color/texture. Much to my surprise I kind of like these samples but I've read next to nothing about this line. Is it anyone's HG? Any comments one way or the other? TIA!

I received my first MMBB order this week - some e/s and foundation samples. So far I am loving everything I have tried. The foundation feels light and matte - great for oily skin. I have had two instant perfect matches already which is surprising for me who always has to mix shades. (click on the "MMU blog" link in my siggie) I also like the e/s colors I received.

Yes, Lisa and MMB&B are fabulous! My favorites from there are the foundations and powders, which are FAB! I have about 4 different foundations from MMB&B, and they all work great for me, depending on what color my skin is that particular day (ruddy = Olive Beige, for ex.). I also use the Light Bisque concealer as foundation, which is perfect. You should also check out the powders. I have Translucent, which is my very favorite powder from ANY mineral company (and I've tried a lot), and I also really like the Petal Veil as well. Also, the yellow eye brightener is wonderful.

Maybe if you do a board search, you'll find where others have offered their opinions (I think all raves, from what I recall). I think there's not as much written just cuz it's a small company, unlike, say, Meow or Lumiere, but that doesn't at all detract from the lovely products offered.

For anyone who has tried it... are MMBB's like Mac eyeshadows really like MAC?

I am not a master of make-up But I do like to use eye shadow to bring out my hazel eyes. I used Lisa's Matte Dove for my eyeshadow along with eyeliner. It really made my eyes look great! I also used her mineral green corrector (to hide my Irish ruddy skincolor) and her Light Bisque concealer. I looked like a different person! I had more compliments last evening about my skin!

Poor Lisa was very patient about explaining to me what brushes to use on my skin and how to apply it.

I use MMB&B for foundation, setting powder, and I also have some of the blush/eyeshadows. I LOOOOOOVE the brushes for sure. Lisa is such a sweetheart to deal with!
