Ocean Mist Golden's?
Has anyone here tried the golden tones from Ocean MIst? I have quite a few full size jars from Ocean Mist, and I love the coverage and finish they provide. Just the color isnt' quite right. I've since found out that the golden tones look better on me. IE. Lauress Radiant and Soft Gold. SO, was wondering if anyone has tried the Goldens from Ocean Mist and how the coloring was? Thanks

Re: Ocean Mist Golden's?
I just ordered some as free samples, but haven't gotten them yet. Will let you know as soon I get them & try them. I always need a more yellow toned foundation than a pink toned, that's why I chose them.

Re: Ocean Mist Golden's?
My samples just came today, as soon as I try them I'll let you know!
I tried the dandelion one right now (I still have lilia & buttermilk to try out), it looks great, just a tad dark on me, but I think it will be perfect for summertime. When I try the other two I'll be sure to post! Last edited by fishchick72 : 04-14-2007 at 02:40 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Re: Ocean Mist Golden's?
I think I ordered dandelion adn lilia, whichever are the light and medium light. So, I think one of those should be the right color, hopefully the undertone is right! I used my Ingenue today(I have it in a full size from Ocean Mist) and I think that Ocean Mist really covers my pores better, and doesn't accentuate my fine lines(smile lines and a few lines around my eyes) like others do. I really like Lauress, but I find that at times it looks powdery on me, or it defines my lines, and I think it's a bit heavy coverage for me. Ocean mist seems lighter, and thats really all I need is a light coveragae to even out my skin tone. Can't wait to get my goldens now!

Re: Ocean Mist Golden's?
I don't know, I keep looking in the mirror & I think this one might be my shade, I think maybe a lighter application is what I needed. I'll find out tomorrow as I try out the other shades.
But yeah, this looks really great, has great coverage & the undertone of this is absolutely perfect on me. It looked a little orangey in the container, especially when I compare it to my BE light container, so I was worried, but once I put it on it looked great. |

Re: Ocean Mist Golden's?
Once I get my samples, I'll post here. The warm shades do look great on me, though (I'm a Sandstone or Almond) but the new golden shades would probably look even better!

Re: Ocean Mist Golden's?
It was very close to my color, but just had a weird tone to it, very dull looking, just didn't look good on me. But if you're not as fair as me you'll do fine with lilia or dandelion or one of the others, they were very very pretty.

Re: Ocean Mist Golden's?
I tried my samples and Sahara seems to match me better than Honey (the warm line). I'll try to post pics later.
![]() Ok for anyone who's interested here is a FOTD I did using the golden tan shade, "Sahara." I think it's a better match for me than "Honey", the warm tan shade, but the difference isn't THAT noticeable. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b6...413/2face6.jpg http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b6...413/2face4.jpg Last edited by donthate : 04-18-2007 at 07:33 PM.
