Is the OM Silken Perfection Powder(mica) okay to use as a finishing powder? Or will it be to white, and to white in photos beacuse of the mica? I love OM Foundation, I just need to find the perfect Finishing powder please help!

I don't know how it looks in photos, but it doesn't look white in person.

It's not white at all if you apply only a thin layer. It goes on translucent. Many finishing powders look white in the jar but are so fine they will go on translucent once you apply them (if you don't overdo it of course). I have it and I think it's fine, so give it a try and see for yourself!

As long as you aren't piling the silken perfection on, it should be translucent. It's one of my favourite finishing powders. It gives your skin a nice finish. I'd definitely say order a sample and see for yourself! Her samples are generous and inexpensive so you don't have a lot to lose.

Absolutely LOVE the Silken Perfection...yes it is okay to use as a finishing powder, I'm pretty sure that's what it is. It's one of my top 3 fave finishing powders for sure...and it's def translucent when applied, I know it looks kinda scary in the jar but don't worry it looks great when it's on your face. I'm sure you'll love it too...

Yes, it works PERFECT as a finishing powder! If you want to see what it looks like in photo, just go check my post in April 18th's FOTD! I used it today, and it doesn't make my skin look white at all.

I got a sample, I dont remember exactly how it was but it certainly did not make my face white... On the other hand, I always prefer finishing powders with a light yellow tint to it as it matches my skin better.
