lol and this mineral foundation called Sheer Cover was on and everyone was giving it a huge thumbs up two former Americas Next Top Model winners, celebs,etc. does this stuff really work?

I've seen Sheer Cover adverts (though probably not the one you're on about). It looks good but there are cheaper brands out there that do the same.

I have tried this. I hated it with a passion. Ended up giving it to my daughter and she hated it. The colors are way off for me, made me orange. Plus the texture is nothing like the other mineral companies. I also broke out really bad. Not to mention, the brushes are cheap crap. And be careful, once you order, if you don't cancel right away........you end up on an auto-delivery. You pay something like 29.95 plus S&H per month but only get a shipment once every 90 days. So it is expensive. Personally, I just think it is cheaply made. HTH.

I did hear about people complaining about the company charging what seemed to be "extra" things. I mean, basically, the ads they aired were misleading. I'm wary of getting things from places that ship and charge automatically, and would rather just get them from boutiques or such.

Sheer cover is also sold at Bed Bath & Beyond (around $30 for a kit). Read the ingredient label - I think it has bismuth oxychloride. There are very few color choices. I had considered it once for a brief second but changed my mind quickly after reading the ingredient label.

i've seen the infomercials as well and although the commercials are convincing, the product broke me out. it was pretty similar to bare escentuals for me, and i didn't do well with bare escentuals. however i think mineral makeup itself is a great makeup, and you should try other brands that are more natural than the mainstream brands.

The name "Sheer" turns me off to begin with. Also remember that cameras can create an airbrush effect on the skin making it look better than it really is in real life.

Just reading the list of ingredients was a turnoff. It's not true mineral makeup.
