Ok, here we go. I have done a lot of research and spent enough to have my own shop of samples!!
Bearing in mind I'm 41, so I'm even fussier - I don't want to emphasize those little wrinkles etc.
1. Wash face with moisturizing dove cream soap.
2. Currently using REN rose moisturizer, experimenting with jojoba oil (which takes getting used to - putting oil to combat oil on my face doesn't come easily, but appears to work well!)
3. small amount of Pure luxe eraser. All over face
4. EDM concealer, where needed. Light application, with small brush
5. EDM powder foundation - with a little powder eraser mixed in. Application of light layers, well buffed in until right coverage, using Bobbi Brown 'powder' or kabuki brush - the brush quality is vital here...or a hard brush can irritate the skin.
6. EDM finishing powder.
7. The odd clean & clear blotting sheet throughout the day - however ERASER has definitely helped with the shine and makes pores look smaller. It's better for me then Smashbox......
night time moisturiser (this is important and part of the process as well)
7. Jojoba oil - a few drops - it absorbs very quickly, especially if applied after a hot shower, whilst pores are open.......
8. I use Kiehls microdermabrasion 2x per week to get rid of those little dry patches that can really show up with MMU.
This has reduced oiliness + lasted from about 7am - night.
Just wanted to help out anyone else trying to figure out a routine - our skins all react differently - however maybe through trial and error we can find some commonalities? ie - products that work for most???
