Pure Luxe

Is anyone familiar with Pure Luxe and can give some guidance? I see they have cream foundation and some cream blushes as well as the cream eraser, so I am thinking of trying some of these (I am tired of powders -can you tell??) I was wondering about the blue eraser? says it's good for undereye circles? What's the rationale behind that - anyone know?? I was assuming I would try either the yellow or apricot eraser for my undereye circles (which are baaaaad right now) but the blue is something I've never tried - and can't figure out what the rationale to this as far as color correcting might be?
How are their foundation shades? They don't seem to have a ton of shades. Just looking I think Buff might be my best bet - I am kind of light to medium neutral to light yellow. The warms look pretty yellow.
Is the April's mix a good product? It says it is a bestseller.....
Any info appreciated - thanks!!

Re: Pure Luxe

I've only used the pigments and blushers but they've been really good.

We've had a few threads on Pure Luxe, here's some that might help:
Pure Luxe
Pure Luxe Eraser
Pure Luxe Minerals

Ooh, if you do decide to try their foundation, let me know what you find in terms of color matching. I'm also a light/med.-light neutral/yellowish.

Re: Pure Luxe

I have tried Aprils mix , and both cream , and powder eraser . I did not really care for any of them . The cream eraser made me breakout , and is pretty expensive . The powder eraser had some large pieces in it witch left some white streaks on my face when applied , and the Aprils mix did not do much for my skin . I prefer silk naturals date bait perfecting powder witch is kinda similar , but works better over Aprils mix any day .

Re: Pure Luxe

the cream eraser is kinda tricky to apply. i can never seem to apply it evenly with my takklon brush... there seems to be clumping so i have no choice but to use my fingertip....I think i prefer the monistat over this

with the powder eraser... its okay it absorbs oil but kinda gritty and it clumps from the jar. i think i prefer the oil at bay over this

i like their april mix... gives me the right shimmer... i used to be a fan of Valerie satin sun because i love shimmer... now i prefer this over the satin sun. its a very faint shimmer not shiny. forgivable drawback is its not so much oil absorbing

my you glow is still sitting in my traincase and waiting to be tested..... ill let you know once i try it

Re: Pure Luxe

Hi Leylani- I wanted to let you know I like Pure Luxe quite a bit, and use their powder foundation in Creamy Natural. I would say it provides medium coverage on its own. It is a little deceiving when you see the color in the jar because it looks like it runs a little dark, but when you put it on it actually applies lighter than what it appears in the jar. I would say it is definitely worth at least trying a sample or two to see if it might work for you.

Do you have a match in another brand that you could compare the Creamy Natural to?

I'm a Mac NW20 and use Pure Luxe in 3/4 part creamy natural and 1/4 part babyface. I love the foundations.

Re: Pure Luxe

Hi carmonious- I do have a few matches/comparisons for Creamy Natural in Pure Luxe:

2L in Aromaleigh Glissade
Satin in Alima (formerly 2S)
Silk Naturals- 2 parts Ebony to 10 parts Ivory

These colors are just for starters. I am sure there are a few more I could think of so if I do, I'll be sure to update the list.
