Ready to expand my mineral horizons..which to try?

I've been a faithful BE user for a couple of years now, and I rarely use anything else now. I love my BE! But I know there are so many other mineral makeup brands out there now, and I'd love to try some! Which ones should I try? I'm fair (I use a mix of fair and medium) with cool undertones and freckles, blue eyes, dark brown hair.
I love sparkly eye colors and would like to try some brands with more of a selection of colors in eyes, lips and face color. I'd also like to play around some more with foundation and finishes. I've tried Everyday Minerals samples and like them, but right now, it's all just overwhelming!
Thanks!

I loved my 22 shadows for $22! They give a pretty good sized amount in each color - especially since you use so little at a time.

I'd suggest that you keep playing with Everyday Minerals. I really love their products and how reasonable their prices are. But if you want to try different brands, I'd suggest Lumiere Cosmetics, J. Lynne Cosmetics and Silk Naturals.

Re: Ready to expand my mineral horizons..which to try?

Well, if BE works for you, I'd stick with it, foundation-wise anyway. I've never used BE but it sounds like their foundation is either love or hate, so if you love it, that's good. Plus it is hard to find exactly what you're looking for once you start sampling foundations, because there are so many, so if you've found one that works for you, stick with it.
That being said - for eye shadows you really can't go wrong with The She Space.
Mineral Makeup, cosmetic pigments, home of About Face Cosmetics
The owner is Heather and she really formulates amazing colors - and right now she's having a "color fest" where she's coming out with new pigments every week (they're limited edition colors though.)
For lip glosses, face colors, powders, blushes, and eye shadows, check out Silk Naturals.
Silk Naturals - Pure Natural Mineral Makeup (make up) & Cosmetics - Silk Naturals : Pure Natural Mineral Makeup (make up) & Cosmetics
Their lip glosses and powders are HG to many people - as well as their blushes and eyeshadows. She has a lot of clones of Bobbi Brown, MAC etc colors too. The owner's name is Karen and her customer service is very good and the prices are very reasonable too.

I really think you would be happy trying EDM or Mary Kay. I have used them both and really like them. EDM was my MMU of choice for a while before I switched back to liquid and I have only really used the MK twice as samples. I was pretty impressed with the both of them! EDM has more product choice, though.

I really have great results with Everyday Minerals, and you can sample them for free.

that 22 for $22 looks so interesting
on the webby it only said the e/s are in a ziploc bag. Can you give me an estimate as to how much there is in a baggie?

TIA!

Re: Ready to expand my mineral horizons..which to try?

Uhhh..... I'd say the baggies are about 1/3-1/2 full. They are samples, but I'm guessing maybe half a gram in each? Considering I've never run out of even my most favorite e/s in a full size, they're pretty substantial for e/s. The only downside is if you're trying to get them into jars; a lot will cling to the ziploc (especially the shimmers - not so much the mattes). But it's a great way to play with the colors!
