Real Mineral Makeup

My mother was a BE Queen. She has every color they ever made. Last year she switched to Lauren Hutton's mineral foundation and swears by it.
I finally used some and it feels really good on the skin when you first put it on. I haven't bought it but thought I would post this for women looking for something that doesn't age or crease up.
It has malachite and hematite extracts in it and the foundation is infused with water which I guess is why it feels so cool when you put it on. It also comes with concealers that are great too and everything is attached.
Looks like she is expanding the line cause my Mom just got her eye shadows and more blush.

Re: Real Mineral Makeup

This looks great! I love Lauren Huttons concealers and lipstick duos. This looks like something to try.
Thank you for the links.

Re: Real Mineral Makeup

Can you get samples of this? I didn't see on either site where I could buy samples.

Re: Real Mineral Makeup

I looked at this several months ago.

Ingredient listing link for the products:

Lauren Hutton Product Ingredients

This isn't as bad as some of the drugstore mineral products I've seen, but it's not true mineral makeup. The are a few things that make me uncomfortable.

Re: Real Mineral Makeup

That hardly seems like actual mmu. Actually, I wouldn't call it mmu at all.

One thing, Malachite is actually toxic!!!! I deal with crystals and minerals a lot and I'd love to know how they've got away with putting a toxic ingredient into their makeup.
