Question Recomendations on best brush for mineral eyeshadows?

Hi guys, I've just bought some mineral eyeshadow samples and I'm having problems!
If I use my natural hair brush they just seem to vanish (weird considering ones a navy!). The manufacturer said that its the brush, that sometimes they create static that pull the minerals away. I used my lip brush which is taklon hair and it seemed to work much better, still not quite up to the job tho.

Can anyone recommend the best brushes to use for mineral eyeshadows?
(as well as other mineral makeup if you like).

Thank you
Regards
Rae

Silk Naturals has an eye shadow brush, synthetic, that I have been wanting to try. It has a different type of brush on each end and looks like it would be great.

That would be Ultimate Eye Shadow Brush- A MUST HAVE! - and it really is. I love that brush. I've got a MAC 217 I use sometimes for blending, and some sable brushes, but I keep going back to the Ultimate.

Re: Recomendations on best brush for mineral eyeshadows?

I also think the best brush is the synthetic brush sold by many MMu company including silk natural or signature or forever female. But I think the series best e/s brush is the wet/dry e/s brush. I have a problem with the double ended brush. Although both ends are great, but I think is a mistake to put it one brush; it is so not practical. I have a brushholder on my dresser, but you can not toss in it a double ended brush, because it destroys the bristles. So after every use, hogy have to put back to plactic protector thing and store on a flat surface.

coastal scents has a synthetic brush set. I love the brushes but felt that maybe natural bristled brushes might b better for me. At coastalscents.com, there's an article about the right brushes for different types of mmu

Re: Recomendations on best brush for mineral eyeshadows?

I have both natural hair (sable and squirrel) and synthetic (taklon) eyeshadow brushes and I prefer natural hair brushes for blending, contouring and doing light washes of color. For packing on eyeshadow, natural or synthetic brushes work equally well for me.

Lumiere has absolutely amazing synthetic brushes that are surprisingly affordable. I've heard nothing but rave reviews about them.

I tried the synthetics for eyes and did not like them. I am sure it is just a personal preference. I went back to natural hair ones from Posh.
