SHEER COVER keeps sending me packages!!!

Has anybody ever had this problem with Sheer Cover or another company that puts you in an automatic member-club type of thing? I ordered the Sheer Cover starter kit about six months back, but upon receiving it had already heard too much negative feedback and sent it back from the post office without even taking it home to try. The following month, I received a larger package (3 month supply) and decided since there's a 60 day money-back guarantee, to try it. It was horrible, it made me break out and the shades were all wrong, not to mention that the facial cleanser and moisturizer smelled old and rotten. So I ended up sending it back, called them to cancel my automatic member-crap and asked them not to send me anymore. GUESS WHAT?? The following month I get another huge 3-month supply and didn't accept it at the post office, so it was returned. I called to ask them why they keep sending me stuff and to confirm that they received all the packages that I returned and didn't over-charge my credit card. They charged me shipping/handling for that last package that never should have been sent out to begin with, which is only $7.95, but my point is this; why should I have to pay the $7.95 when it was there mistake? Can you imagine how much money they make off of lazy people like me who don't want to bother fighting to get back that shipping charge? I'm sure it's a ton of money...so I say Sheer Cover sucks! Not only do their products suck, but their customer service is garbage-eeo too...BEWARE girls!

yep, I ordered some stuff from Avon and they signed me up for some crap called great fun. they charge me 9.99 amonth, until I cursed them out

You should try to contact your cc company if you want those shipping charges back. If you cancelled your autoship, they shouldn't be charging those.

Contact your credit card company. They should credit your credit card back while they investigate your problem.

I agree that sometimes these so called "mistakes" seem planned. When I got my daughter a cell phone (an additional line- $9.99 deal) the company instead made TWO plans! Then got that straightened out and they tried to charge me $20 for the first month's proration rate- 10 days. I was so close to cancelling it completely because the service rep. acted like I was the idiot about proration. Call them back and tell them to take that fee off. I always make a log of who I am speaking to/date etc when doing those things because it seems to happen so often. Always ask for a confirmation number too if they give those. I write it on the billing statement and file.

I saw sheer cover on Tv and had thought about getting it, but I was afraid to. I don't want in any kind of automatic shipping. My sister saw sheer cover today on HSN and was going to get it, but I told her not to.

Contact your credit card carrier/bank directly ASAP as their are deadline times to disputes these annoying charges, I've had it happen with a Fitness Gym (that's another story) & they hope you'll just give in & pay a month or 2s worth. If it meets crieria the carrier wil credit you upfront & they will deal with getting it cancelled. Good Luck!

If she's ordering it from a third party (especially HSN, QVC) then you won't be dealing with Sheer Cover customer service reps. You only will work with HSN customer service. Also, they won't sign you up for automated shipping unless you specifically say that's what you want. HSN & QVC also have fantastic return policies.

This is what I'd do:

-Send a letter to the company stating what's going on and what you want doing about it. Send it via a signed for service. Let them know you want the shipping refunded as it's their error and you want the parcels to stop.
-In the meantime, refuse all parcels from them.
-If you get no response, contact your credit card company and tell them there are unauthorised charges.

I am sooo glad you posted about Sheer Cover! I was going to try them.I am however sorry you are going through this mess! BE called me and said that they were trying to charge my CC for a shipment on a membership that I cancelled 2 months ago.I went into the site after cancelling my membership and changed expiration date on my card because I had a feeling they were going to pull this.
