ok im a little confused
i wear sc all the time opting for the club scheme where you are sent shipment every 3 months.
before i got into the club scheme i was using there tan finishing powder

when joining the club i opted for tan shade but the finishing powder was medium!
then recently i decided to try the finishing powder in dark and bought one off a ebay usa supplier...i loved it....so i decided maybe the dark shade would be better for my now tanned complexion
so i rung the uk sc suppliers and asked that i wanted my next package to be the dark shade so that id get the dark finishing powder too within it

iv receieved it today..alls great..the finishing powder says dark on the package but im very sure its the tan shade finishing powder!!

this is puzzling me...maybe the uk and usa suppliers of sc have different shades or one of thems got it wrong????

you should definitely contact the people you order from and bring this to their attention. i'm pretty sure that there's a uniform shade for around the world (why would they switch the shades around?!) but maybe that particular jar had an error. so contact them and find out.
