Smashbox #19 brush for applying mineral makeup?

I ordered this brush and it hasn't gotten here yet for me to try it. It was very expensive, but I had read some reviews on another site where most people liked it. I will primarily be using it for applying mineral makeup....did I make the right choice? If any of you have this brush, I would love your feedback.

hi laureenn, can you by any chance tell me the approx. measurments for this brush....I'm contemplating buying this one but I want to make sure that it's not going to be too similar to my NARS #19, my NARS brush is approx. 5" handle, 1.5" long brush hairs/1.5" at the widest point of brush hairs....Do you think the Smashbox #19 is around the same measurments or is it much larger? thanks in advance!!!

yeah, it looks like a great brush; can you by any chance tell me the measurments? I've received conflicting measurments....one person told me the length of the handle is 5 1/4", and the diameter of the brush is 4".....and another person told me it's 5" from the tip of brush head to bottom of handle, and the length of hairs are 1.5" long, and "thickness" is about 1" (whatever "thickness" means, I'm not sure ). so if you could clear up my confusion that would be greatly appreciated!!!
