hello

im wanting to do all the smokey eye makeup thing-ive never done it

ive the basic brushes needed from BE like angled bushes contour brush defining brush n blending brush

i want to do it using mineral eyeshadows and liner...i have mineral gel liner too

i want that smokey dark blk/grey sort of look thats very glam

i have brown eyes

id also like to know what colours look good re smokey eyes for brown eyes
as well as grey eyes since i sometimes wear grey contact lenses

We have a few tuts around mut and the same principle apply with mineral eyeshadow.

for brown eyes:
copper, bronze, champagne (soft pink with a touch of apricot), brown (for a doe-eyed look), beige, and khaki-green (lighter shades add highlight)
tangerine, royal blue, hot pink, lime-green (the contrast adds punch to brown)



For gray eyes: Charcoal, cool brown and purple.

In regards to apply-- get some UDPP and apply to eyelid. Buy a box of q-tips, wet one end, roll the wet end on your arm or something to get off some of the excess water. Tap some eyeshadow into a spare container, dab q-tip in there, and apply on top of the UDPP (this is why it's good to take off a lot of the excess water-- so you don't wipe off the UDPP when putting on the eyeshadow). Apply as much as you want to of whatever eyeshadow

Colors, brown eyes are good deep purples, dark dark greens, and browns.
