Here is my smokey eye I did last week with Silk Naturals Rocker Eye collection, BE’s Rocker Eye clone. I will admit that I only ordered this set because I was a 80’s rocker chick. I was not sure what the colors would look like on but I just could not resist.


I am not nearly as good as many at make up application as many of you. Post your photos with your smokey eye look in mineral. I would love to learn color combos. This was a day look so it was not very intense.

Looks great.

I use an eyeshadow primer from Artdeco under MMU shadows. There is no problem to make a smokey eye then.

On my lips I am using NYC lipstick in 418B(it doesn’t say the color on the label) and The Body Shop gloss in, I have no idea I just looked at the tube but it only says “high shine lip”

I think it'd be simpler to just keep the smokey eye pics right on this thread since it was started off so wonderfully!

I went to SN to see what the colors are. Is it like silver/greys? My monitor colors are not the best.

I will try to describe the colors for you. The three that come in the kit are Slick, Rebel and Blackheart.

Blackheart is black hole black with some silvery sparkle. Like a little black dress with some silver thread through it. If you put it on with a light touch you can make it gray.

Rebel is charcoal black with lots of purple, silver and blue sparkle. Like a very dark wash gray pair of jeans with some glitter dusted on them.

Slick is complicated it kind of morphs between gray and a taupe/brown. It has lots of sparkle also. When I look through the jar it looks taupe when I look at the shadow in the sifter it looks gray. On my skin it seems to change color depending on the light.

Honestly I did not think they would work together when I first looked at them but they seem to come together.
