Sweetscents Hide-A-Pore

Has anybody tried this product? I believe it is new! It sounds like just what I need for my pores but I can't find any samples of it. I don't want to spend 20+ dollars on it without trying it. Here's the description:

Quote:
Hide-A-Pore

This is a very special concealer to assist to hide large pores, and help heal acne prone skin. It will help dry skin that is to oily, with noticeable results when applied to an oily T zone of the face. This is formulated in 3 colors, light, medium, dark. It works well with any skin tone, cool, neutral or warm. It makes the perfect night minerals for your skin leaving your skin with the appearance of reduced pore size in the morning. You can also use this mineral if you aren't wearing any makeup, just to help absorb extra skin oils . It is simply applied with a dry makeup brush, you only need a very tiny amount to do your whole face, so a little goes a long way.

Hide-A-Pore contains only the best skin vitamins green tea powder, cranberry powder for the flavonoid and antioxidant properties, along with the minerals of rice silk and bamboo silk, which come from the buds of the rice and bamboo plant, (not the rice or bamboo powder or starch that commonly sold), along with pure kaolin clay, zinc oxide & sericite, along with iron oxides complete the ingredients in this fabulous pore hiding product. This product will not clog your pores, but it encourages a silky soft appearance of the skin, and helps to minimize the appearance of pores.
You can find it on this page:

I have purchased several Sweetscents products but I have yet to use them. That sounds like an interesting product! I must check that out!

I think I'm going to be getting this soon so I'll be posting a review if it's included in my parcel.

Thumbs up Re: Sweetscents Hide-A-Pore

I did receive this as a sample when I purchased some multi-use minerals (sold in 1 ounce packages on sale for $4.95 an OUNCE!) - look under "clearance."

That aside - the hide-a-pore does really work. It's got the heaviness of a concealer, but it doesn't get absorbed into the pores (as least on me), if that makes any sense. It lasted all day, it it did diminish the sight of my large pores (on and around my nose area).

Anyway, why don't you send them an e-mail and see if you can purchase a sample of it to try out - maybe they'll even send you a free sample, e-mail them and see what they say. Everyone is different, so you won't know if it works for YOU unless you try it out yourself. So many times, a product receives rave reviews, but it doesn't work for everyone.

Good luck with it.

Re: Sweetscents Hide-A-Pore

It concerns me that it says it will dry oily skin. Does that mean absorb surface oil? Because if it actually dries the skin, then in the long run that will make my skin produce more oil.

Joan is very accomodating so I don't think getting a sample of this should be too hard.

Thanks for the heads up about this product, citre and coocoo4coco!

You're right, she is very nice! I emailed her about it and she said she would send me a sample at not cost. I can't wait to try it!

Does Sweetscents still have their parrot dupe called Peacock?

Re: Sweetscents Hide-A-Pore

I got my sample today! Plus Joan suprised me with her green and yellow concealers, plus an overnight mineral treatment. I can't wait to try it all out! Tonight I think I will use the hide-a-pore. I believe you can sleep in it and its supposed to minimize the appearance of my pores. I will try it on my cheeks and nose and I will take before and after pictures! I'll post here tomorrow or Monday. =]

I just checked and they don't. That's a shame, it's one of the most beautiful colours I own.
