TKB Trading Question

I feel really stupid asking this, but the stuff they call colorants on TKB trading, do you need to add anything to them to use them as eye shadow or blush? Is it a site for makeing your own stuff? Or can you use them just the way them come? If you can use them the way they come, how are the samples packaged(you get 1 tablespoon/$1.50)? I feel so dumb ... Can anyone help?

Colorants : TKB Trading, LLC: Pigment, dye, mica and colorants for natural cosmetics and soap

Re: TKB Trading Question

yes...TKB sells everything u need to make MMU u need to add something to the colored micas to add adhesion...TKB sells their own matte eyeshadow base that you can easily mix micas into. Don't worry...the samples are a lot...i think you can probably make around $500 worth of products with just $100. Serious, try it!

Re: TKB Trading Question

Yes, you can.

However you won't be able to apply them as a normal mineral eye shadow. I use these and either press them into something creamy (like a MAC Shadestick) or apply them with a damp brush. They won't stick at all otherwise.

The samples come in plastic baggies but you can also buy the jars to put them in.

They are a wholesale site and do offer all the ingredients for making your own mmu and they have a minimum order of $15.
