Ok, i'm sorry if this topic has been discussed before, i couldn't find any related thread about this (maybe it's just me)...but i have a question.
What did you do with your wrong shade foundations samples? (I understand you would probably toss away the samples which cause you breakouts or irritations) For example, I have some shades from EDM which are too light for me, and some from Signature Minerals that are too dark...can I mix them to find a match shade for me? Is it safe? Thanx guys !

Re: What did you do with your un-matched foundation samples?
I mixed them and made a perfect shade once upon a time

Re: What did you do with your un-matched foundation samples?
I would do the same thing. I have a dark shade in my liquid foundation and when I use it I mix a lighter one (which I have a lot of, surprisingly). I too have EM samples that are too dark and I will mix them eventually when I need them.

Re: What did you do with your un-matched foundation samples?
I was worried on the ingredients mixed together...who knows it may cause reaction which eventually will react on my skin...
hahahaha or is it me who worries too much? ![]()

These companies use pretty much all the same ingredients. They just get them from difference source suppliers and use them in different concentrations.

Re: What did you do with your un-matched foundation samples?
It's not like they're loaded with chemicals, so it's perfectly safe to mix them. I either mix them together to make a shade close to mine, or keep them for later so that if I ever order a full-sized jar that ends up being too light or too dark, I have something to balance it with.

I mix them just to try out new things. You never know when you'll find the next perfect combination!
