its was befor 2 years ago. I read in some Israeli forum about mmu.
I was very very curious about that. in the first place she introduce me to everydayminerals, I sample and I fall in love.
more than that my skin was very very like the mmu. much than the reguler makeup.
and than I start to try a lot of brands.
now, I think I will never go back to reguler makeup.
every gal that I meet Im telling about mmu.
its more health to the skin!!

For me it was Ms. Blogett and her annoying (sorry to those of you who are fans) infomercials. However, when I started researching brands online prior to purchase, I did not think BE would be suitable for my sensitive skin.

more than 1 year ago I red in an italian forum a post about MMU, then ordered something from taylor and fall in love with minerals...here in Italy still almost no one knows about minerals, expecially REAL minerals, not that l'oreal\avon\revlon\etc things...now I'm a mod in a forum totally dedicated to MMU (i think it's the only one in Italy probably)
I've introduced my mom to MMU and she uses a mineral foundation most of the time (she alternates it with her estee lauder foundation), and some of my friends have tried my mineral ES...but I don't share my MU secrets so much lol

MuT. and Becky for the Lily Lolo stuff i now love. that and the Bare Escentuals ads everywhere when the french Sephora decided to finally introduce the french women to mineral makeup. tried BE, tried Lily Lolo, found Fyrinnae for eyeshadows, and never looked back since.

Paula Begoun, actually. I had not even heard about MMU until I received a speciall report on MMU, which mostly said that in many cases it wasn't as great as companies touted it to be. I was eyeing the BE kit at Sephora for a while, and thought it was expensive, and looked for reviews here and in another site to see if it was worth it. Reviews pointed out common sensitivity to Bismuth Oxychloride, and I learnt about alternatives, which had better ingredients and were also cheaper. And so the madness began

I heard about it on here I can't remember who was the first person to post about it that I read, or who was the last one I read before finally deciding to buy it, but I have never heard about it from anyone else. I'm now trying to push it on my friends

My first trial with minerals was at the age of 14. I discovered Indian Earth products in Peoples Drug Store(now CVS). Boy did I make a mess! You can still buy their most popular product. It's sold in a little earthenware corked vase. Guess I've always been Bohemian.

A Bare Escentuals informercial years ago made me aware to the existence of MMU, but I only actually learned about it here.

Since I've only recently started using it myself, I haven't introduced it yet to anyone

i tried it on my own. i hadn't heard about it until i saw a box of bare escentuals in a planet beauty and then i asked her to match me and tried it from there. when i bought it i thought it was a powder foundation and the girl who sold it to me didn't have much information on it. i fell in love with MMU from there and then started trying other brands that i eventually came to like much better.
