Hey Girlies!,

Im soo stupid, sorry, but what is bare minerals and id minerals??? Is it just good for acne or is it a brand like mac and stuff? I DONT GET IT! lol could someone please break it down for me and what it is and what its used for?

bare minerals and id minerals are the same thing. it is really called "id bareMinerals". it is a mineral foundation from Bare Escentuals.

it's a brand name of mineral make up.
mineral make up is a powder foundation......you apply it with a brush and buff it into the skin.
ppl have found it is been "nice" to the skin!

Mineral makeups in general are considered good for the skin. There are many brand of mineral makeups and id bareMinerals is just one brand. Many users of mmus (shorthand for mineral makeups) feel that they have seen real improvements to their skin (especially acne) since switching. I myself prefer mmu brands that do not contain the ingredient, bismuth. Thus, I favor brands like Larenim over bareMinerals.
