I really like the emo hairstyles. I have long hair and have been going to a guy that cuts all the rockers in town. He's awesome with color and cuts...a bit pricey, but it's worth it.

I usually have the top part of my hair razor layered and then the bottom is straight. I like the emo type hair to where it's sculpted on top, is in layers and then the bottom length is straight.

I'm trying to find some pictures of that and so far, haven't been able to find it.

Are there any hairstyle online magazines with pictures in that kind of category?

I think the hairstyle your thinking of is more of the 'scene girls' hair style.

just youtube 'scene queens' or scene hairstyles thats where I got most of my ideas from, especially with my color. And there are alot of pictures of those type of cuts.

I got it done and I love it!! The guy I go to is a genius in color and cuts. Anything you want, he'll do it. After he was done with me and styling it, the whole staff in the salon was like "WOW! That turned out so good!"

He colored it a warm black (instead of an ash blake, that totally washes me out) all over and then put warm carmel highlights in the back. Razor cut the whole hair, so it's in layers all over. Didn't cut the length,...my hair is down to the middle of my back and my bangs aren't that pull-over-to-the-side look, but were left long and razor cut, so there's that kind of peek-a-boo look.

Then, he teased my hair on top and combed it down, so that it gave that bigger look on top. More like this pic




But, mine's black and more neat looking, not so teased up.

luuurvly.i love my scene haircut....thing is,blonde isn't the best looking with it. so i put some auburn back into it,and it looks mind blowingly gorgeous. im so happy with it *smiles like 500 times and makes your eyes bleed with my dazzling teef*

i like some scene haircuts,and some are just disgustingly ugly. but i like my friend's hair,its pretty rad. and then im in love with hayley williams hair. this is a pic of my friend's hair,i love it!
