Question Need new hair cut & style help please

I have a natural wave, semi-long (for me anyway), black hair and I like the length but not much for the cut. It's layered, which is good because I have a lot of hair and it helps with the weight. It's not really thick or thin...I guess it's normal hair .

The first 2 images are recent pictures of me (and my hair ) and the last 2 is the cut (front & side view) I'm thinking of having. Would it match my face shape and hair texture? Do you know any other website with hair cuts and styles like it? I need a cut that is kind of low maintanence.

Also, which side-part looks best on me? Right-parted (first pic.), or left? I heard middle-part is not good for everyone...it shows your unevenness of your face or something lol.

Lastly, (sorry for making this so long!! ) I like my wavy hair but don't know how to style it. I use some volume mousse and curling products, and sometime blow dry it but that's it. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right lol. I can't really use a curling iron or blow dry it nicely (meaning holding a brush under the hair and drying it), because of my disabilities...

Anyway, thank you for any help and advice you can give me .

I think a right side part would work good with your face shape. I think the cut you are looking at suits you very well. As for styling products, I say use Garnier Fructise Style Smoothing Milk. I use it everyday. It tames frizzies and looks good if you put it in wet hair and let it air dry. I hope this helps!

Re: Need new hair cut & style help please

I actually had my hair shorter before, and to me it looks better longer. I'm also trying to grow it even longer because I kind of chopped a lot of it at my last hair cut lol. But if you could find any pictures like the ones posted, I really appreciate it

Hey GlamGirl! I really like that cut.. and I think it would look really good on you! I also like the first pic... where your hair is parted to the right. I like Matrix Smooth.Look hair products - they help keep away the frizz! But, as for the cut... go for it!!! it's similar to the shape of the cut you have, so it won't be hard to get - looks great!

Re: Need new hair cut & style help please

I also like the part in the first picture, because it looks like your hair wants to part that way -- in the second picture it looks like it's kind of fighting the part. I know my hair always does weird things if I try to make it part where it doesn't want to!

As for the cut, I'm sure it would look great, but if you wear your hair wavy it won't quite be the same as in the picture -- I think you'd have to blowdry it or something to get it that smooth and shiny. I know I never really know what a haircut will look like until I try it -- I also have wavy hair, and my hair likes to curl in different directions at different lengths. For example, the ends tend to curl under when it's about chin-length and they curl out at shoulder-length, but there's always some random sections of hair that insist on curling the opposite direction as the rest of my hair. Anyways, as other girls said, that cut won't be that big of a change so I say go for it!
