To the point of wondering if something was wrong?

This morning I woke up at 6am to the sound of the son turning on his shower... And groggely I thought...... "Why is he getting up so early on a Sunday to take a shower?". Then I figgured that maybe he and some of his buddies were going out for breakfast...... Then I drifted back to sleep....

The next thing I know my wife is shaking me saying "aren't you getting up and going to work today?".

Ahhhh. "Why would I go to work on a Sunday?". And I was still thinking that she and the son had made a big mistake by getting up early... She just stared at me like I was looney....

Then I said.... "Ohhh yesterday was Sunday.... ". And she replys "No yesterday was Monday"

Then it all came back to me... Watching the hockey game Monday night.... Going to bed... But is scared me that I was sure it was Sunday!!

Early onset Altzheimers?? I don't know... I need to get in to my neurosergeon and get my annual MRI... See if my pitutary tumor is still shrinking... Getting old sucks!!

Anyone ever have something like that happen??

yes but in my case it was entirely wishful thinking!

it happened to me once (haha, although in my case i thought it was already monday morning and i was late for school, but it was sunday!! ). i know i've had a bad dream before, and i was reeeaaally out of here. like my body was in my bed and my mind...probably on Tatooine. it took me several minutes to get back to reality.
i don't know how it happened but i think it was related to the fact i woke up abruptly.

haha. I've had something like that kind of happen to me as well.

This happens to me all the time, but only since I've been sick, and I think it's due to extreme tiredness. I've even had to check my phone to see what day it is.

Have you been really tired or stressed lately?

i've had it happen to me on the weekend, thinking it was a weekday. such a waste of good sleep time.
