Sat morning i woke up went checked my email and layed back down then my uper back, like where your boobs are but in the back was starting to ache a little then starts REALLY hurting (my back) then it shot across to the top of my stomach, hardcore, all i could do is sit straight up cry my eyes out and take deep breaths then noticed i was huffing and puffing crying .. this all happened within 20 mins it would stop for like a couple mins and boom come back.. so finally i had my husband take me to the hospital and as soon as i got out of the car it ALLL went away like nothing ever happened.. what the hell.. i have had stretching pains like in my lower back and abdominal but this was like a stabbing pain like someone just took a nife from my back to my belly.. any ideas? It hasnt happened before or since.. baby is kicking fine no pains.. hmm weird

Hmm...I don't know. Besides referring you to your HCP I'd say that could be it. I've wondered if I had Braxton Hicks too but it was never as bad as you say yours were. It was just a sharp pain in my stomach for about 40 seconds and not painful enough to make me cry. I hope all is good for you though.

Braxton hicks should not be associated with pain. See your doctor

hmm i didnt go in.. i probably should have.. thing is it stopped and i havent had any pain like it before or since.. shuold i still call them??

Call to be safe, because it should be more like a muscle contraction rather than a stabbing pain

As your baby gets bigger, he/she will start to press against nerves.
This can result in pain and discomfort, but it is difficult to know the source.

In my 6-7 month of pregnancy, my son pressed against my sciatic nerve. I had a very difficult time walking sometimes and going up or down stairs. As soon as he was born, all that discomfort went away.
