Hopefully this will be the "diet" that works for me. I joined about a little over a week ago after my family Dr. and Gyno each told me if I don't lose weight i'm going to die. They both told me my blood pressure is wayyyy too high for a 33 year old. So after talking to my Gyno he recommended Jenny Craig. I had done weight watchers and it wasnt for me. I need someone to sit me down and say... "Hey this is a normal portion. Eat no more and no less." So here I am making my lifestyle change. I have also started walking too.

You know whats funny?? I HATE the way I look and can't stand looking at myself in the mirror. You would think that would be enough to make a person want to or motivated enough to lose weight. With me, it wasn't. The "your going to die" lecture was a rude awakening for me and was what the @$$ kicking I needed.

So here I am 3lbs lighter already. I think it's different this time because I am doing it for my health and not to look good. Though that will be a great benefit

Oh, wow. Well great for you, Jess - in taking the step. I thought the same way too about not liking my appearance but still not doing anything about it! Lazy. Ha. But at least you're finding something that works for you and hopefully it'll continue to work for you.
I had a friend who dropped 20 lbs on JC... I doubt she kept up with the program, though :/

Thats great!! I'm currently trying a new diet as well and i hope everything works out great for you. I know how tiring it can be but all i think about is how much healthier i need to be.

Thanks ladies for all of the support. I also have to tell you all that food is actually really really good. And yes Kathy it is a little expensive but I am saving money by not eating out . I would eat lunch out everyday at work and that was expensive.
