Hi! My username is juxtapose


Last week a few friends and I went out clubbing and I got ready at one of my girls place. Brought all my makeups over (since all the girls always wants me to do their makeup for them) after getting ready and before leaving to the club I left my traincase in the front of the passenger seats (should of left at the crib). Well to make the story short....After the club was over...my car was broken into and they took everything in it...my makeups and all the girls purse that was left in the trunk of the car....

So if you are a card member who gets discount, please help rebuild my stash. I would love to have a member cp for me so I can save some money

Honestly I doubt that someone who has a MAC PRO card would buy items for someone that they don't know. Someone can correct me if I am wrong but aren't people with the card limited to how much they can get at one time or in a month? I thought I read that somewhere.

understandable... just that i live in washington and the only pro store here is a two hour drive for me. i thought i'd give it a try here. thanks for the comment though

There is a thread in the Coupons forum that has a 15% off on your purchase until July 16th. You can at least save some $$.

The limit, $500 max and no more than 4 items, and:
No more than 4 of the same item or colour up to 24 total pieces
No more than 8 of the same item for discontinued products
No more than $500 (after discount) per transaction, per day
No more than two $500 transactions per week
No more than $2000 (after discount) per month
No more than $5000 (after discount) per 12-month period
No more than 3 transactions per 31 days (1 month) of consistent pigment and glitter skus
No more than 3 transactions per 31 days (1 month) of multiple of the skus
No more than 1 student kit (colour or tool kit) per student

Also, they might not do it because of the no-reselling policy, which they technically would be doing if they sold it to you.

that really sucks that would break my heart i think the train case and make up would upset me more then the purse i would check ebay i always find great deals on there.

First of all let me say that i'm so sorry that happened to you! I literally would've cried bc i love my makeup stash.

we was pissed off!

1- yes i spent a lot of money on makeups. some are non-replacable.

2- those were some expendsive purses. they got away with 2 Chanel, 1 Louis Vuitton, 1 Gucci and 1 Goyard Sanit Louis. Some of the bags was discontinued- limited editions.

3- I had just gotten my windows tinted a few days before that.

so eitherway... we lost a lot.

man that is a horrible set of circumstances right there. Expensive purses, and makeup?? I would cry too because I've sent literally thousands on my mac stash. Ugh!

did you report it maybe the insurancde company would cover the contents of the car had to be a girl who else would know how much the makeup was worth

perhaps your insurance may cover the lost? i know that home owners with home insurance have coverage over burglarized goods.

I have full coverage so that did helped out a bit. As for the makeup it wasn't that important. The only thing that I am worried about is the contents of things that we had in our purse (credit cards, debit cards, cash, i.d's) I know some of the girls had their social security cards and passports in their purse.


I don't know if they knew how much the makeup are worth...I don't know if it was guys or girls who did it. But if its guys...they must of took it for their GF's...who knows...
