Crying In Your Sleep??
So, I just woke up from a nap with my daughter and to my surprise I had tears running down my cheeks .
I was having a dream that I was caring for a disabled infant. It just broke my heart because I loved this baby so much and I wanted to help him but for some reason in my dreams I can't!!! It sucks because dreams feel so real and I cried so hard in it. Anyway, I woke up because I heard my daughter and my face was all wet and my heart was racing.
Has anyone else had this happen?

Re: Crying In Your Sleep??
It has totally happened to me before! I will be dreaming something sad and the tears running down my face will wake me up. I have no idea why this happens, but I am a total cry-baby so I figured that even in my sleep I cry at the drop of a hat.

Wow, that's interesting that screaming and laughing happen too. I didn't know this. I am glad that I'm not the only one though.

my sister used to cry in her sleep when she was little, that's so sad, I hate dreams like that!

Yep.
I wake up crying with tears or I am trying to cry in my sleep but I am doing some weird howling type noise that scares my boyfriend awake and then he wakes me up.

Re: Crying In Your Sleep??
yes, once I dreamt that I was taking care of a puppy and I grew really attached to it, then the owner came back and I had to let it go ;___; cried so hard man...i mean in my dream lol
and this other time a lonnng time ago, I dreamt I was in my grandfather's funeral (I never went in real life--lots of guilt but that's another story) I'm veryyy close to my grandparents, so I dreamt that both of my grandparents disappeared and I could not find them(kinda hazy now) ... but I woke up feeling extremely scared, I started crying so much and had to call them all the way to china to make sure they were still there. *sighhh*

Re: Crying In Your Sleep??
Nope. I use to sleep walk and talk in my sleep though. I do wake up out of breath if I was running in my sleep, or I wake up on the floor because I fell off some cliff.

Re: Crying In Your Sleep??
I don't think i've ever cried in my sleep, but as a kid i surely knew how to use my vocal cords, lol. My dreams are always so vivid it takes some time to realise they're not "real", i'm often left breathless and covered with sweat.
