Okay ladies and gents!

There are so many newbies floating around without a good MuT buddy, or just overwhelmed by the sheer size of this site, or maybe even a little too timid to post.

I think it would be great for those who been here a while and know the ropes to kindly take a newbie under their wing. That is, until she/he feels more comfortable to branch off on their own. The whole idea is to befriend a totally new person here who you've never really had correspondance with before!

I think this could be fun.

I guess what we could do is post in our signature "Ready To Adopt a MuTer", and then try to seek out new members to get acquainted with, and new members can seek one of us out to be an "adoptee" for a while.

This is an experiement, I just wanna see if it will work.

um.. a little question. what is the defination on a newbie?? that is.... by post count? activity rate??

Basically, it's anyone who feels like one.

For example: Lady #1 signed up on MuT one year ago, has only 150 posts, knows the site very well, but nobody knows her and she feels a little isolated and lonely, she can chose to be adopted.

Lady #2 signed up to be on MuT three months ago. She posts a lot, is friendly with a lot of folks, but feels like she could learn a lot more about MuT. She can choose to be adopted.

It's all up to personal interpretation of how confident you are about knowing the site.
