Best cell phone network?
What do you guys think is the best cell phone service?
I don't use my phone too often right now, but I might use it more often in a little while.
But does anyone have a preferance

Re: Best cell phone network?
I want to know as well. I have Verizon right now, but when I move, almost everyone there has Alltel, but I want T Mobile so I can get a Sidekick.

Re: Best cell phone network?
I prefer Cingular. Most of the people I talk to regularly have it, and with mobile to mobile its free. Plus, I think it has better nationwide coverage than most cell phone networks.

Re: Best cell phone network?
I have Verizon now and haven't had any problems with them. I had ATT before they became Cingular and I hated them. I also had problems with Sprint. In fact they were so bad that I paid BIG bucks just to get out of my contract with them.

Re: Best cell phone network?
I have Verizon. I was impressed when I went to Glacier National Park and my phone had service in some of that area. I have had them for years and have never had any problems.

Re: Best cell phone network?
I have Aliant, they suck. Im sure no one here has heard of them, they are just Atlantic Canada. They are partners with Bell Canada, so when I travell to say, Toronto, I use Bells towers. My only other choices would be Rogers and Telus....and they arent much better.

Re: Best cell phone network?
While I do agree that Cingular, Sprint and Verizon probably have the best network coverage, I prefer T-Mobile. In my area and surrounding areas I get great coverage and reception. I could even use it while I was in the ocean off the coast of Florida on my cruise. I could make and receive calls at least an hour off the coast. Also, T-Mobile's customer service standards far exceed the customer service you receive with any of the above carriers. If you can handle all your business with the others online, then I would go with them, but when you have a problem with a phone (damage/loss etc), don't expect to have a fun time with them. T-Mobile also costs less monthly. I pay $39.99 for 600 minutes with free nights and weekends. Cingular and Sprint now have 7pm nights....so that may be something you also consider.
Best of luck in your search!!
