i'm not talking first aid, either! every girl has an emergency survival kit in her purse. this is what's in mine:

cal stat hand sanitizer
crazy glue
band-aids
wet nap
corn pads
shoe pads (for the balls of your feet)
pads (for when my friend comes to visit)
nail polish
eye drops
mini kleenix pack
body shop leg gel

do you have a survival kit and what do you carry in it?

I have what I can my emergency beach bag.
In my car at all times there is....
-first aid kit
-sleeping bag
-makeup kit
-shampoo, conditioner brush
_change of clthes
- sandles
-bathing suit
-towel
-bug spray
-sunscreen

And my father bough me a road side emergency kit,,,,, but i cant fathom when I could every possible need the flares on my itty bitty island!

Hahah, yeah, thats what I have bug spray for. The scariest thing here is mosquitos and black flys!

i like to carry my house in my bag, so i guess it's a kind of survival kit :
-hand gel
-hand cream
-lipbalm
-sunscreen and sunburns cream during summer
-2 pocket mirrors
-a knife (it's a small one, useful when you eat a sandwich for example but also to cut bandages).
there's two more in the car in case we need to cut a belt. my dad and bro are cops so legally they're obliged to help people if there's a car accident for example. there's also a piece of electric cable hidden, niark, niark.

-kleenex
-eyedrops
-painkillers, triptans
-band aids, and some special for blisters
-my cellphone to call for 911 !!
-small scrunchies
-a little hairbrush
-a travel sized brushes set
-those things girls need for their period
-pens and stuff to write, always useful
-a plastic bag

and i guess that's it.

That's a very good idea, I've seen others carry tons of things in their purses, and I'd like to carry a tiny first aid kit or something like that but I always procrastinate

I like to have in my desk at work:

Razor - self explanatory
Sunscreen (chemical free Neutrogena)
Lipbalm without sunscreen
Lipbalm with sunscreen
Hairspray (gets ink stains out of clothes,too, handy at office)
Safety pins
toothbrush/toothpaste
Gel, brush
Nail file

Well I'm not sure if you can call it a survival kit but I do carry a lot of stuff in my bag beside the usual wallet and cellphone.
-a small planner and pen
-ipod nano
-small bottle of sun block lotion
-3M travel size first aid kit with bandaids and iodine in it
-lipbalm
-small scissor
-pocket mirror and brush
-wet paper towels
-an umbrella(the kind that fold up and fit in a bag)
-some essential oil for for refreshing or calming the spirit
that's about it, sometimes more or less depending on the occasion. Most people who've had their hands on my bag are mostly surpirsed of the weight, they say I carry to much.
