Help choosing a smartphone.
Well, i'm trying to decide which smartphone i should buy: the Palm Treo 650 or the 680.
But why a Palm Treo and not other models?
Because i want it mainly for its palm functions and OS. I don't use those e-mail functions or internet on the cellphone. I want a PDA that also works as a phone - most medical programs (books, calculators) are for the palm OS.
And why a 650 or 680?
Because my carrier is GSM based.
That said, i want some help - the Treo 680 is prettier (has a red version, is a bit more compact - no antenna), but is more expensive (400 dollars) and i read its battery isn't the greatest thing ever. But then the 650 is a bit older, cheaper but a bit uglier...
Or should i forget all of this and buy a Palm Tungsten E2 ?

Check cnet.com I find them to have the best reviews of these types of items.

Re: Help choosing a smartphone.
I read about them on there :/ But it didn't help me that much... I think i'm gonna be cheap and buy either the Treo 650 or a regular Palm...
But the crimson 680 is so beautiful!
See:
Maybe other users can share their opinions about other smartphones

Re: Help choosing a smartphone.
Not sure if this one will be released anytime soon in Brazil but have you heard of the P alm Centro? It is sleeker looking than others and it is getting great reviews.

Re: Help choosing a smartphone.
Probably it won't be released soon, but either way, it's for CDMA-based carriers, and i use a GSM one - because mine is the best on the market, yay (Tim Brasil). Unless they make another to GSM (the ones that have chips).

Re: Help choosing a smartphone.
What does a blackberry does? I don't need e-mailing or web functions on my cellphone (it's too expensive here in brazil, plus i don't need to be online all the time)
