The "I'm Back" Thread...
Well, it's been a rough few weeks and I'm sorry that I've been away for so long...
The move went well but it's taking longer than I expected; I finally got the essentials unpacked (kitchen, pantry, bathrooms, closet, bedroom, etc.) so we're not living out of packing boxes anymore but there's still a good bit of painting and unpacking to finish. My shoulder is healing well; I'm still having a lot of back pain and I won't be able to lift anything heavier than one pound for three months...which makes the painting and unpacking even more difficult...but my doctor is almost certain that I won't have to surgery or physical therapy so I'm grateful for that. So between all that, getting a refurbished CHANEL counter at work, moving into said counter, dealing with some unexpected in-law drama and losing my internet connection for almost two weeks...I've been gone for way too long...It feels good to be back, though. I've missed ya'll.
