Thunderstorms
Thunderstorms... do you love them or do you hate them?
Personally, I love them!!! I esp. love the lightening!!! Sheet lightening is awesome and Fork lightening is pretty cool as well, but I love Sheet more as it lights up the sky and it just looks awesome! I love the thunder as well!!!
Jessie (our furbaby), doesn't feel the same way about thunderstorms! She can always sense them and she really hates them!

Re: Thunderstorms
Yep, there has been some lightening, thunder, rain and also hail!
When you have a thunderstorm in summer, it does feel cooler afterwards which is lovely!
Wow, 46C weather!!! I'm surprised you've not melted away!!! Is it humid as well? I think the humidity is worse then the heat!

Re: Thunderstorms
How interesting. We had a massive hour-long thunderstorm here last night. It was weird, because we NEVER get thunderstorms, not during the ten years I've lived here. We'll get a couple of bolts of lightning and accompanying thunder, but that'll be it. Yesterday though, I felt like I was in a disaster movie! It was beyond cool! I sat by the window the whole time. I love dramatic weather like that, as long as it doesn't involve snow, because then you're stuck where you are long after it's stopped. Anyway, thunderstorms are the best. Makes you feel like you're in a Charlotte or Emily Brontë novel.

Re: Thunderstorms
Storms don't really bother me... Aside from having to take the necessary precautions and logging off!!! I realize I might not HAVE to, but I do anyway... Kylie doesn't particularly like them as they scare her, so that's kind of disheartening to watch... Poor baby! I don't mind them though

Re: Thunderstorms
It seems to have been raining everywhere lately. It's been raining here too. THANKFULLY. I can't stand much more of this Georgia heat at 100+ degrees.

Re: Thunderstorms
back in the midwest i hated them. i mean HATED them.
i always asociate them with tornados (cause that tends to happen ive noticed and after being in too many they just scare the crap out of me). here in WA they dont have tornados which makes me feel so much better (just earthquakes).

Re: Thunderstorms
We had a thunderstorm yesterday evening. I love them, it's great to be in the house, perhaps with a book and a glass of wine and outside are the storm, the flashes and the rain!
Yesterday it only rained a bit and today morning it hasn't really cooled down

Re: Thunderstorms
I also like thunderstorms (as long as no warnings are posted). My little boy (3 years old) loves'em also - he likes to set on our covered porch & watch it rain. My furbaby doesn't like them - he will shake something awful and run and hide.
