Update on my turtle Chainsaw
Ok, so she had a follow up appt at the vet's office this morning... Some of you may remember last week I told you guys that her twin Trixie passed away from Metabolic Bone Disease and she had it as well but not as bad.
He said she is looking great, she's been active as normal and she was a little firecracker! She even tried to snap at the vet bc he was poking and prodding at her!! That's my little girl!!
We have an appointment in 2 weeks again just to make sure she is doing well...she has a little bit of air (it looks like) inside her shell, but he said it happens with MBD so we're just going to watch it and make sure it won't get any worse, only better...
Keep praying guys, she is doing really well, but she isn't totally out of the woods yet. But she's a trooper and is doing fantastic so far!

Re: Update on my turtle Chainsaw
She tried to snap at the vet?? LOL how cute! lol It's funny to imagine that considering she is "microscopic" ehehe. I'm glad she's doing better. Are you planning to get her another sister or brother? (may be bf?)

lol, yeah it was pretty funny! She has such a teeny tiny mouth, so it was beyond comical, too since she had an ear problem several months ago she isn't very good at judging WHERE something is, so she was WAY off from his finger!
I don't think we're getting another turtle, at least not for a while... But then who really knows bc we're planning to go to a Reptile Show in Tampa on Sunday, so who knows what we may come home with. I doubt it though...

I'm so glad that she's doing well! Where in Tampa is Reptile Show going to be? At the Fairgrounds maybe? My boyfriend loves snakes (he's been wanting a ball python since forever) so we'll probably go too!
