Using sniper sites for ebay
Can anyone post a good sniper site/s? Do these really work and how likely are you to win when you use one? Do they cost? Sorry for so many ?'s - saw something on ebay I want & it ends way to late (I'll be snoozing at that time) so I was going to try one of these sites.
Thanks

Re: Using sniper sites for ebay
I'm not totally sure - I read about it in another link, but, I think it is where you can use this site & it will keep bidding for you on ebay.

Re: Using sniper sites for ebay
auctionsniper.com is what I've used... You're first three snipes are free, and then it's like $0.25 per snipe afterwards... You tell them your highest bid, and set it for however long before auction ending (minutes or seconds), and it'll put in the bid for you. Should the bid hit above the highest you'll go before the end of the auction, you'll receive a message about it. I've won a few auctions like that by sniping in the last 5 seconds

Re: Using sniper sites for ebay
I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE my sniper!! It has saved my butt numerous times on last minute ebay purchases! I don't have to be there, I don't have to even watch - which sometimes I don't because I might be tempted to bid higher ...

Re: Using sniper sites for ebay
Are these sites safe (they have your ebay password & user id)? How are they different than just doing a 'max bid' on ebay? Sorry - this is my first time trying to buy something using both methods....

Yes they do have your ebay name and password, but no money is passed thru the site. A max bid on ebay is different. I can sit and do a snipe and nobody knows I am even interested in an item. On most of the type of items I bid on we all know each other so seeing a persons ID is sometimes a dead giveaway that you do NOT want. That just shows them you are interested in it too and raises the final price. Me, I would rather remain invisible till the last 5 seconds. I bid with the sniper the most $ I am comfortable paying.

Re: Using sniper sites for ebay
Yup I have used the three free snipes from auctionsniper.com
You can change the price off the auction , bid, whenever you want. And it places ur bid in the last 5 seconds

Re: Using sniper sites for ebay
I LOOOOOOVVE my Ebay sniper. I use bidnapper.com
I does cost, but its never let me down. I've been using it for years. You can pay by the month or buy a package of so many snipes. It doesn't put your bid in until the last 2 seconds. You can even be away and it will bid for you.
