It sure is Luara Faye... and it's hard to believe that it's tucked right in between two major cities.... From one poing you could see the tops of the skys-crappers on Lake Erie... Otherwise you would swear you were out in the middle of nowhere... Really amazing that 30+ years ago this was an environmental night mare.....

We hiked a lot!! Every morning up at 7am and didn't get back to the camp site till 7pm. That Beaver Marsh was once an auto junk yard... And the govenrment reclaimed it planning to put a parking lot for the trail but a couple beavers moved in quickley and damed up the stream so they just let it go natural.. We could have spent another week there and plan to go back since its less that 3 hours from our house..

that was awesome! thanks for sharing! i might have to bring my digicam on one of my mountain biking trips. there's this trail that we take and it leads us up to an overlook that lets us see most of the san jose and the valley.
