I recommend Mme Tussauds museum of wax figures.. It's so much fun! don't forget to take your camera
it's in Manhattan, very easy to find.

I vote for going to the big city... I live in the boonies, so I'm no real help! I've been here almost a full year, and still haven't made it to NYC myself, and it's only 2 hours away!

Re: What's there to do in new york?
nothing.
just kidding.
just get into NYC and take it from there. when my boyfriend and his friend visited, i had to take them to all the stupid tourist sites, like battery park (where you can see/take the ferry to ellis island [where the immigrants came in] and statue of liberty), you can walk to ground zero from there (not sure if you wanna go there), times square, chinatown (has anime stuff, his friend bought some things there because he likes that stuff, too), central park, etc.

You could go see a broadway show, and shopping should be fabulous. I haven't ever been but most of my friends have and they loved seeing broadway.
