I hate this BS mcdonalds is all about lately. I hate the commercials, saying how their chicken nuggets are healthy and their milk jugs and apple dippers. I know mcdonalds is trying to be healthier or atleast SEEM healthier but theyre totally lame. I don't want to watch a commercial featuring a mother and her daughter and then talking about how she brings her kid to mcdonalds cause she knows that is nutritious. First of all no. Second of all, I miss the hamburgler and ronald mcdonald I remember when I was a kid and I had my birthday parties there, and it was so cool looking..with playgrounds and funny shaped chairs and tables, mostly red and yellow. It was actually a cool place to be, for kids anyways. Now it's so 'mature' and not fun!!

Who else misses ronald and all the other cute characters? They can still make mcdonalds seem healthy by using their cute characters and stop remodeling the resturaunts and commercials to look all 'new' and 'hip'

I hate the whole "ba da ba ba ba..im lovin it!" thing !!! ack!!

OMG...I thought I was the only one, I love the classic, Ronald McDonald, Mickey D's. I mean the commercials are supposed to be all cool, but personally they suck, especially the "Dollar Menuaire" ugggggh. Now I do love the apple dippers, BUT but the commercials...not so much.

Well yeah I bet they taste good, but the old mcdonalds was so cool!!! nothing wrong with apple dippers, just come on, the golden arches!! they don't even have golden arches anymore. (ok so they do but theyre slowly dissapearing)

i hear ya. it was a really cool place for kids, now it became just a piece of s***. really. they're certainly healthier than before, but thanks to them i grew a big disgust for anything which has been in contact with oil.
it's like the goodies we used to have in the kids' meals. when i was a kid i had to have them all. now, when i see little kids and their own meal, suddenly i feel old, it lost its magic.
i remember i got an interview for a job at mcdonald's. hang on, this is surprising, they told me they needed at least two months, full time, just so i could be independent and know how to handle everything. and they told me i'd have to work the whole weekend and some evenings/week just so the investment in my person (meaning the two months of training) could be worth smthg.

pfff, right now all i wanna do is open a Vegdonald's with green tofu burgers.

I also like the old McDonald's better, Ronald McDonald & other characters, the old commericals etc. And I agree that commercial 'ba da ba ba ba..im lovin it" is so annoying.

I hear you. I watch the new commercials and feel like they're trying to play me for a fool. If I want my kids to eat something nutritious their nasty nuggets would be the last thing I would serve them. (I think their sliced up apples are dead grotty with the chemicals on them to preserve them. ick)

It seems like when the Fry Guys and the Hamburgler were on there they were targeting the kids. Now the commercials just seem targeted at people that think "they say it's nutritious it must be." Blah.... no I don't want fry's with that. Sorry this is a sore subject for me. My daughter's school goes on and on about how healthy their food is and Corn dogs, nuggets, and pepperoni pizza aren't healthy. Grrrr.

Yeah I hear ya, the old McDonalds was so much better with Ronald McDonald and the other characters.But things change all the time and maybe no one was into the old way so they changed it to what it is now just straight ghetto.My fav character was hamburgler, he was always taking everyones cheesebugers lol.

Your being to gentle on McD's!! LOL. I hate them too!!! Haven't been in one since the kids quit wanting Happy Meals!! Ok maybe a couple times.... But I didn't enjoy it.... They used to have the best fires...... Sigh

I like Wendy's if I have to eat fast food, at least I can get a baked potato.. Ohhh and a Frosty!! Hehe

I hate reading the nutrition labels now when I'm eating a cheeseburger! I'd rather not know how many cals I'm eating..lol. But I too agree I liked the orginial McDonalds better with the characters.

I haven't eaten there in over a year. I have noticed all the new adverts though. I thought they were trying to compete with Subway, which is really getting more popular over here.

My parents made it a point to keep me away from McDonald's. I still don't eat that stuff now. Because of how I was raised, there is nothing McDonald's could do or say to convince me that they have healthful found to be found in that place. Their new *health* campaign is laughable.
