haha, so I was thinking about how now that I'm single I have all those AWFUL "crazy people" dates to look forward to, and I thought I'd share a few of the really hilarious slash crap dates I've had in the past!

The Worst one ever was a guy I met who seemed really nice. He was a volunteer for the SES which is a kind of emergency service in Australia, they do all kinds of stuff like rescue kittens from trees and help fight fires and look for lost kiddies in the bush. I thought, he sounds sweet. Anyway, we arranged to meet up at a club with our friends, since both of us were going out that evening. His friend got us free entrance into this club, and he came to meet me and brought me inside. We didn't go to meet the friend straight away since we wanted to talk privately and get to know each other a little bit more. Anyway, he took me to meet his friend and she tore him to shreds for being rude and not introducing me as SOON as we arrived and so on, so I spent the next 40 minutes cheering him up while he bawled his eyes out!

THEN later on, we were going home, and we went to get a taxi at a taxi rank. In australia, if it's close to change over time, they will only take on fares that are going towards where they have to take the cab back to. so they ask you where you're going and sometimes they refuse to take you, which is really annoying and rude when they're at a taxi rank. ANYWAY. My date had a MASSIVE problem with them doing that, and he said if they did it to him, he was going to kick the taxi door. I figured he'd give it a little tap just to show he was annoyed, nothing massive. That was a stupid assumption on my part because he was a karate teacher.

When the taxi driver refused to take us, he did like a random judo kick and FULLY DENTED the whole door panel! I was like OH MY GOD. I was so embarrassed! then he goes to the next taxi in in the line who not surprisingly refused to take us either, and he kicked THEIR door too! I was glad to get away from THAT date.

Then, another date I went on, we decided to meet up at the bar where we'd exchanged numbers, with my friends and his friends, and just have a few drinks. I told the guy about how I'm semi-allergic to vodka and it gives me a really bad hangover. He bought the drinks, and I asked for beer. When he came back from the bar, I thought i could taste vodka in my drink. I asked my friends to taste it, and they couldn't, since they drink vodka all the time, but I never do, so I could taste it right away. Eventually, he admitted that he was a lot more drunk than me, so he wanted me to 'catch up' as it were - He'd spiked my drink with Vodka!!

MY GOD there are some weirdos out there.

As you can guess I'm going to stay single as LONG as possible, LOL.

OH MY GOD lol he spiked your drink?? what a psycho! honestly!
My most horrible one.. well the first that comes to my mind was back in the day at a school dance (lol) and this guy I brought who used to live in my hometown too kissed me on the eye. I don't know what that was about. We were just walking along and he kissed me on the eye. o.k.
Then my friends went on and on about how they approve of him and I was like SHUT UP lol
He SMELLED like wet dogs the whole time. It was horrible, and then he proceeded to internet break up shortly after (degrading, but I was ok with it because I was planning to break up too, but at least in PERSON to show some respect!)

lol.. that's pretty bad! how awkward! I hated high school for that stuff.. everything was uncomfortable back then!

OH here's another, another high school one lol. I was at a play with this kid and he smelled really bad. That was basically it. lmao. When I thought it was over I was like I GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE but then they're like oh it's only intermission but I left anyway haha. I only felt sort of bad because that guy was a major creep. I later found out a lot of the weirdo things he was saying, he wasn't joking about.

hmm, well i don't have much stories to tell, apart from the annoying hands at the theater. if i paid for a movie (humhum, he paid, stupid "romantic" fogy BS- no, you can't buy me with tickets, try makeup!) it's to watch it, not spend my time checking where his hands are and why they're very close to my body.
anyway, he was a kid and he wanted a mom to take care of his own problems. so sorry, but i wanted a man, i'm not your f****** mother.

I can't really remember any bad dates... Guess I've been lucky. Or maybe I'm just really really gifted in the repression department...

Magosienne, I hate when men have "busy hands". Never happened to me on a date, but my driving instructor sometimes got a bit too touchy-feely... once he told me to increase speed, then put his hand on my right leg and squeezed it and said "you use THIS leg to speed up". Yuk.

One time my friend wanted to set me up with a guy she knew. We all met at a bar. He seemed okay, but then I started getting the creeps. He kept staring at me all night, followed me around etc. My friend asked me later on if I liked him and I said no and told her not to give him my phone number. She dropped me off at home and the next day he called! I told him I wasn't interested but he kept calling, I blocked his phone number, he would call from payphones. I told him if he keeps phoningI will call the police. My friend admitted that he has a live in girlfriend and a child. I asked her why on earth would she set me up with a guy who is involved with someone, I don't go out with married guys or one's that have gf's. Her response was that his live in girlfriend is a *itch, who cares. I was really mad and stopped talking to her.

Another time a different friend set me up with a guy she knew. We saw a movie and went for a drive through a park not far from where I live. He was driving really slow and reached over into the glove box, said he keeps something for protection in there.. I thought wtf? He pulled out a knife. I was panicking inside. He said this is in case anyone attacks him, protection. We continued through the park at a slow pace.. but I had a bad feeling. I told him that my dad is a cop and that I have to go home now, past my curfew and if I am not home by this time, my dad and his cop buddies will be out looking for me (not true). He took me home, but I never went out with him again.

I dont really have any but ya'll stories are funny and canadian_gurl that would be really scary to have some creep pull a knife out of the glove box and say its for protection. Im glad you got out safe.

Well I didn't date this particular guy, but I had a stalker for 4 years in high school. I met him in 7th grade, and he started stalking me in 9th grade. I lucked out and didn't have any classes with him. Until the last semester of my senior year, he was in my English class. We had to get up to give a 5 minute speech on what we wanted for a career after graduation and he stared at me the entire time because he sat in front of the podium. He had a girlfriend for a few years who was pretty fugly, so I guess that is why he stalked me. My own best friend didn't believe me that I was being stalked by the guy until one night we were shoveling snow out of my driveway and he drove by AGAIN in his jeep and my friend threw a huge metal shovel at him when he drove by. He had never been in my house, but for some reason knew what color my blinds were in my bedroom. He drove by my house at least 10 times a week if not more, and he didn't live near me at all. It was pretty creepy.

I thought about jumping out of the car since it was going really slow or if it came down to it would use my taekwondo, kick his arse.

Wow double whammy with that one. Glad to know you didnt just take that crap from your friend. Like you don't deserve a guy all to yourself or something.
